Accelerated Coaching - Speeding up the learnings

In Accelerated coaching, the leader decides to speed-up the learning cycle by increasing his commitment to put himself in an uncomfortable situation to create learning opportunities.

Speed Coaching

  • Speed Coaching - The time frames of sessions are greatly reduced as the leader's commitment to experiment is increased. This type of coaching can be used for new recruits or leaders in transition where pressure and stakes are high.
  • Shadow Coaching

  • Shadowing - The coach will use shadowing as an additional tool prior to the coaching sessions and during the coaching cycle to accelerate the learnings. The idea is for the coach to gain first hand insight into the environment and challenges the leader might be facing while also providing real time independent perspective of the leader's coaching experiments in his work environment. This can be done for internal assignments or external assignments (mission or client based)
  • Stress Coaching

  • Stress Coaching - Leaders decide to confront with the coach their biggest challenges in a controled environment. Bringing these stressful scenarios to life help leaders experiment and feel comfortable dealing with them in the future.
